Getting help

Include your app version, macOS version, what you were trying to do and any error message. Describe the issue without attaching confidential documents. Remove personal information from screenshots and never send PDF passwords or saved signature images.

Common questions

The app requires an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later. No app account is required. Core PDF, Markdown and image tools do not require a local AI model; Custōs needs a compatible downloaded or imported model.

For PDF compression, use Export → Compress PDF and save a separate copy. Review the result before sharing. For models, use PDF → Local AI Models to download, import or remove compatible model files.

Keep originals and backups. OCR, conversions and AI answers can contain mistakes. A placed signature image is a visual mark and does not independently authenticate a signer.
